Ourika valley is one of the most beautyful places in whole Morocco: parts of it are a national park where you can find rare animals and plants. In our lush gardens on foot of huge mountains, there grow avocados, peaches, apples, oranges and walnuts. But our environment is in danger: garbage lying around everywhere, waste polluting the water and the soil.
We did not want to wait we went for action. We cleaned our school yard from rubbish and planted trees and flowers. Please check our blog post to learn more about our green action day! We, Radijojo and YACD were joined by the Scouts of Morocco for this first common action – many thanks to all!
